Survivor Advisory Council

What is the Survivor Advisory Council?

The Survivor Advisory Council is a project of the New Mexico Coalition of Sexual Assault Programs to create a vital, survivor-driven platform for sexual assault survivors to share their experiences in the form of storytelling to inspire communities, influence policies, and improve services provided by programs.

Our goal is to ensure the voices of those with lived experience are central to shaping our work, including advocacy and policy in our state.

Interested in Joining?

We’re seeking survivors from diverse backgrounds who are passionate about using their lived experience as expertise to guide meaningful change.

Please note, this is not a support group, and participants on the Council are encouraged to identify their support systems for continued healing.
